Mailing Lists
If you have missed Jimmy visiting your Town/City in the past – what can you do to keep a track of where he’s touring?
A pro tip would be to join mailing lists…and I’d recommend joining more than one (I am, personally, on all 3 of the list types, below). Jimmy’s mailing list, for example, has tended to only send out major tour announcements so, if any individual gigs are added along the way, you wouldn’t be notified.
I like the Ticketmaster one as they tend to be around once a week and list lots of comedians. Even if you are not interested in going to see them – it’s nice to keep up with who is touring (if you are a big comedy fan, like me).
- Jimmy’s Website has a mailing list – see on this page JimmyCarr.com
- Ticketmaster, Bohm, Ticketek etc. – whoever is the biggest ticket vendor in your country – register with their mailing list too
- Your local venue – Search and find out which venues Jimmy has appeared at, local to you, on previous tours. Then register with the venue’s mailing list (assuming its big enough to have a website).
Social Media
Similar to mailing lists – you should follow accounts on one of the social media platforms. The ones below are Jimmy’s own accounts and this is where his team tend to post promos or ads (TikTok I’ve only ever seen used when he’s put out video messages about a big tour).
This Blog
Any gigs that I see announced are posted on this blog (as quickly as possible).
They list under New Gig(s) tag but newly added dates are also pinned to the top of the post listing for a few days. I periodically go through and delete old announcements as you can see where he’s been (as a tour history) via Woolly posts.
The list at the top of this page highlights the countries currently on his tour schedule and it will be kept updated.
