Susie Dent has given a Mother’s Day interview (published by the Mirror and Yahoo!) in relation to a Moonpig promotion that she’s been involved in.

It seems to have wandered off topic in that she ended up discussing the “most unnecessary joke” on 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown (2017 S12 Ep5), relating to glory holes. Unfortunately, some fans of daytime Countdown (and Susie) seem to think that some of the jokes aimed at her are “bullying”. So, it’s always nice to see her explain that she’s happy to play along, as one of the gang:

“…Jimmy is lovely actually because if he has an intro he thinks that is very much on the line, he asks them to show it to me so I can veto it. I haven’t yet vetoed any. That’s just part of the comedy isn’t it. I just wish I could come up with more comebacks.”

But really this just seems like as good an excuse as any to post the brilliant clip.
