In 2017 Damon Beesley created a sitcom, called White Gold, for BBC2. From 2017-19 there were 12 episodes and it was about a group of three UPVC double glazing salesmen from Essex. Not sure how well it did or why it didn’t go beyond the 2nd series.

Damon was one of the Executive Producers (alongside Iain Morris) on 6 of Jimmy’s 8 DVD releases.
The link between Jimmy and this show was that, while at Just For Laughs 2017, he was being interviewed on the ComedyPRO event red carpet and was asked what British show “you’re going to be obsessed with in 6 months”.
Being someone who always supports his friends the show that he enthused over was Damon’s White Gold (interview here).
