8 Out of 10 Cats was first broadcast on 3rd June 2005 and series 1 ran until August 12th 2005. Jimmy was the host and the Team Captains (with 2 panellists assisting each of them) were Sean Lock and Dave Spikey.

Episode 1
Episode 1 featured discussions about Live8 and had a round called Face Off. Dave and Sean stand at terminals, with Jimmy between them, looking at 6 images. Jimmy asks them a series of questions and they have to tell him who got the most votes from Prince Harry, David Blunkett, The Pope, Wayne Rooney, Cheri Blair and Chewbacca. See the video below.
