The Ticketmaster Ire Awards announced their winners in February 2025 (here).

Tommy Tiernan won the vote for Comedian of the Year and the other finalists were:

• Fern Brady
• Jimmy Carr
• John Bishop
• Katherine Ryan
• Kyla Cobbler
• Paul Smith
• Shane Todd

As a side note the 2026 awards featured a mostly different list of names and the winner was Kevin Hart (see here).

Presumably the longlist would be comics that were selling tickets in Ireland at the point the voting started.
