Bruce Hills has been in the comedy business for 40 years and is probably best known, around the world, for his role as President of Just For Laughs festival (JFL) in Montreal, Canada.

At the July 2026 JFL he was given the Legacy Tribute Award (by Gabriel Iglesias).

Bruce posted some pictures (and a thank you) on Instagram here and, on his LinkedIn, has added a copy of the tribute video that was shown on the night – here.

Jimmy’s message, as you can see below, is at 1.49 and was recorded sometime between 20-23 July, while recording a new series of Am I The A**hole?

During his message there is a still of Jimmy holding a trophy (with Bruce, Jeff Ross and Brian Moses). This was from the 2015 JFL when Jimmy won the Roastmaster Invitational (see here).
