In 2021 Ed Sheeran released a track called Visiting Hours (written about the loss of a close friend) and once details of the credits for the track filtered out people were shocked to find that Jimmy was listed as being on backing vocals.

Jimmy is friends with Johnny McDaid (of Snow Patrol) and Johnny was one of the co-writers of the song, with Ed. He’d played Jimmy a preview some months before and persuaded him to record a vocal (spoken about in the video, below, of The Russell Howard Hour. Recorded 23^rd Nov 2021 and broadcast on the 25th).
