The TV series “The Office” was created and written by Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant and ran from 2001-2003. To put this timeframe into context the two of them had been in Edinburgh Aug 2001, with Jimmy, and he’d also contributed some material to the series Meet Ricky Gervais in 2000.

An Office special edition box set was released in 2011 and in amongst the deleted scenes and out-takes was The Office: Closed for Business: documentary (21 minutes).

There is a low-quality version of the documentary here – and the link starts it at a point where, for about 30 seconds, Jimmy is driving Ricky and Stephen around Slough (short version, below). They are looking at houses to find one to use as the home of the character David Brent and, as Jimmy grew up in Slough, he was acting as chauffeur.
