Glastonbury, June 2019, and The Killers were on the Pyramid stage. They performed When You Were Young and then left the stage for a soundcheck to be carried out, before the planned Pet Shop Boys duet of Always On My Mind.

To the surprise of both the crowd and viewers at home – Jimmy wandered onto the stage with a broom. He stopped at a mic to say “Check, one two” and then proceeded to nonchalantly sweep the stage.

The film crew recognised him pretty quickly and put the feed up on the screens at the side of the stage.

The story was covered by Digital Spy, Independent, BBC, Chortle, NME etc. (as well as lots of surprised people taking to what was then Twitter).

He’d been wandering around Worthy Farm earlier in the day and several people grabbed selfies with him.
