An early acting role for Jimmy was in the movie Alex Rider: Operation Stormbreaker, playing the part of MI6 man, John Crawford (apparently originally named Crawley). Crawford’s boss is Alan Blunt (Bill Nighy). I managed to get to the end of it – but can see why it didn’t do great at the box office.

It had some big names in it though and Jimmy had said, on Friday Night with Jonathan Ross, that the great cast list had influenced his decision to say yes to what was essentially 2 days of filming. Cast included:

According to The Numbers.com the Production budget was $40m but it only made receipts of $23m (Bomb Report).
