On 23^rd November 2013 and Jimmy was performing at UCH (University Concert Hall) in Limerick, Republic of Ireland (while on his Gagging Order tour).

Before heading out on stage the Mayor of Limerick, Councillor Kathleen Leddin, presented Jimmy with a Certificate of Irish Heritage (on behalf of Limerick City and County Council).

Although he was born in Hounslow he travels on an Irish passport and has dual British and Irish citizenship. Both his parents were from Limerick City and he said he was “honoured and delighted” to receive the certificate.
