First published December 3rd 2020 this episode of Brydon& has Rob Brydon chatting to Jimmy, apparently for about an hour.
Oddly the Spotify version is about 51 minutes and the YouTube one 24 – and yet both are slightly different. Normally you would expect the audio version to just be an extended version of the video, but, having listened to both on the same day I noticed there is some content in the YT (shorter) version that’s missing from the audio one. And, at one point, Jimmy mentions that they had been talking about an hour.
Which means that you would have to listen to / watch both, to get the full conversation. If you only choose one I’d say go for YouTube as it’s nice to see them laughing together and it means the “green juice” comment makes more sense.
Rob mentions that he thought he’d met Jimmy, in the late 90s, at Ha Bloody Ha in Chiswick and that they had ended up on stage together. I can’t find any trace of that – earliest I can find (at the moment) is July 2003 at the Ealing Festival.
