Running alongside the Edinburgh Fringe is the Edinburgh International TV Festival.

Established in 1976 it attracts TV industry people to a programme of around 70 events. It’s a networking tool for the industry but also allows people to find out what is happening through lectures and masterclasses. This Edinburgh Guide lays out some of the events in 2008.

There also has to be some light relief and, at the 2008 festival, Jimmy hosted a live 8 Out of 10 Cats special, probably on August 22^nd or 23^rd.
