Another film that Jimmy featured in was the 2006 release Confetti. He had a fairly large part (no pun intended) as Antoni, the arrogant bridal magazine owner (judging by the trailer).
Described on IMDB as “A mockumentary that follows three couples as they battle it out to win the coveted title of ‘Most Original Wedding of the Year.’” there are stills and full cast details here and more info on BCG.
I’ve not seen it but it can’t have been ALL bad as it was nominated for a 2006 British Comedy Award, an Empire Award and a Golden Trailer Award. Judging by some comments that I’ve just browsed some people, that watched it back in 2006, loved it.
Oddly there was no script and it was all acted out as improvisation, in chronological order.
This one was a box office success with receipts of $4.9m on a budget of $2m.
95 minutes long it was released in UK cinemas on May 5th 2006 and first shown, on the BBC July 12th 2009 (10.05pm) and again on BBC2 Northern Ireland on December 26th 2018.
The World Premiere was on May 3rd 2006 at Vue West End, Leicester Square and Jimmy attended with Karoline to pose on a pink carpet with a gaggle of bridesmaids. Getty Images have 31 pictures here.
Alamy have some stills from the film – here.
I would imagine Robert Webb regrets his involvement in the film more…
