British Comedy Guide and Chortle (among others) have confirmed today that Last One Laughing UK will be filming a Series 2, for Amazon Prime, later this year. They quoted Jimmy as saying:

I think what’s happened is someone high up at Amazon has clicked ‘subscribe & save’ on Prime Video and, hey presto, we’re back in business. I’m so pleased people had as much fun watching the first season as we had making it. Can’t wait to bask in the reflected glory of the next 10 comedy legends taking on the challenge.

LOL UK is still number 9 in the UK charts, despite it being 56 days since its release. It’s also had a brief Top 10 re-entry in Denmark on the 11^th and 12^th and Ireland on the 8^th and 9^th – a pattern which suggests that it’s still getting a LOT of views.

Across Amazon as a whole, it’s been Top 10 for 55 straight days.

Just listed to I’m ADHD! No You’re Not podcast and Paul Whitehouse was putting in a bid for a space. Tommy Cannon had touted himself (on X) and Tim Vine, when asked, had acknowledge that he was too much of a giggler.

Will be interesting to see who they can get.
