Sir David Frost announced a new project in Sept 2003 – The Strategic Humour Initiative. In what he hoped would develop into a series comedians from the UK, USA and CAN would analyse America’s role internationally. America’s PBS signed up to shoot the pilot – with the reps for each country originally announced as:

• UK – Jimmy Carr
• USA – Jimmy Tingle
• CAN – Mary Walsh

This Pozzitive TV story (Pozzitive recorded the show) hints at a bit of international wrangling, 3 different version of the show being produced and the UK contributors seem to have ended up as:

• David Frost (host)
• Jimmy Carr (comedy set)
• Rory Bremner (comedy set)
• Olivia Colman (a spoof of Dr Seuss’s Green Eggs and Ham)
• Hugh Dennis
• David Mitchell

Airing in October 2003 (14^th for the US and 15^th for UK & CAN) no further episodes were made.
