December 27th 2005 saw the broadcast of Top Gear’s S7 Ep6 with David Walliams. Jimmy had accompanied him to the recording and joined him for the chat with Jeremy Clarkson (and to watch David’s Star in a Reasonably Priced Car lap).
At this point Jimmy is still top of the leaderboard (with his 1.46.9) and David fails to beat him (with 1.50.7).
Jeremy repeated that The Stig had said that “Jimmy was the most dangerous driver they’d every had and he was lucky to be alive”. Might have been something to do with him admitting that he’d tried to “roll” the car.
