In May 2021 a call went out for applicants for a new TV show pilot, tentatively called Value For Funny and to be hosted by Jimmy.

The concept was that members of the public would try and impress a panel with anecdotes and it was being made by Ant and Dec’s production company – Chortle and Comedy.co.uk had the story.

There is no follow up story (re why it was not commissioned – or even whether the pilot was filmed) but the Chortle story noted that it was a similar idea to Graham Norton’s Big Red Chair part of his show.
