8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown was a result of the 2012 C4 mash-up night (see here).

There was another show, broadcast January 4^th 2013, that looked like a continuation of the mash-up idea (the logo mentions it), but was for charity. Deal or No Deal was a hit show hosted by Noel Edmonds.
