Another in the series of “No, not THAT Jimmy Carr”. Misinformation fact check!

Various databases (including IMDB) have replicated that falsehood that Jimmy Carr (comedian) starred in Grange Hill (A British TV series). There may have been “A” Jimmy Carr that played a character of Perry, in the 1987 series (Series 10, Episodes 16, 19 and 24). But it wasn’t the comedian.

Jimmy, the comedian, was born in 1972 and DEF didn’t look anything like this in 1987 (at aged 15).

If you look at the 6 min 30 point of this BFQ video you hear Jimmy say that “this is how the 80s started and finished” and these 2 pictures are shown.
