Duck Quacks Don’t Echo was a British comedy “entertainment and science” show on Sky1. The show ran from 2014 to 2017 and was hosted by Lee Mack.

Members of the audience bring facts and the 3 celebrities chose one that the believe to be true / interesting. The 3 verifiers (scientists) are there to advise whether the fact is true or not and points are awarded, to the celebrity.

Jimmy Carry’s first appearance was S1 Ep7, broadcast March 21st 2014. Clips from this episode also appeared in Ep8 (Best Bits) shown on March 28^th 2014.

In this clip Jimmy is announced as winner – but has to perform a challenge. Lee has a fact “if you drop a heavy object in front of your face, attached to a rope, it will never hit you when it swings back”.

Which results in Jimmy and Lee having an anvil swung in front of their faces.
