“Mr Swallow does a psychic reading”. Nick Mohammed drops in to try and make the comedians laugh.

Last One Laughing UK S1 (LOL UK) series 1hasn’t been top 10 for a while (back on 22^nd June it was still UK Top 10). Released on March 21^st 2025 – a few stats:

Flixpatrol was reporting data for 17 countries – Australia, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, Ireland, Israel, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, Singapore, South Africa, Sweden, Switzerland, UAE and UK
For 76 days it was top 10 in at least one country
Of those 17 countries, over the 76 days, there were 366 occurrences of a Top 10 position
It only hit the Number 1 spot in the UK – but managed this for 24 of the 76 days

i only knew nick from “ted lasso” (they seemed to cut it short and kinda screwed him out of a full redemption arc. he had just started crossing over from “irredeemable” to “redeemable”, then suddenly, ‘bam’, he jumped straight to “redeemed”), so i was surprised with… pretty much everything about the “mr. swallows” persona.
i get what he was going for, and i was impressed with the dialect skill, but that kind of character doesn’t really translate to anything we have over here in “the states”.
…maybe a nice little minnesotan man(?)

those stats are pretty cool. i’m glad it’s doing well. good for anyone on there that’s touring, and good for bringing people into uk panel shows (and/or comedy scene).
