In this post I laid out some figures (up to the end of July 2025) as to how comedians were using social media and who had the most followers/subscribers on each of the big “legacy” platforms.
This follow on post looks at who has the most followers/subscribers. The platforms that have been added together are:
- TikTok
- X
- YouTube
As mentioned in the earlier post – others have branched out into Threads and BlueSky and so on. But unless a LOT of comedians gravitate to one platform, including them would make the data a little nonsensical.
Please see the earlier post for all the variables to take into account.
How many accounts were analysed:
- 30 Britain
- 1 India
- 36 USA
And, just to repeat the previous post a little, Britain means someone works here, not their place of birth. It matters because it indicates the comedy scene they are working within and the size of their accessible demographic.
Of those 67 people – this is the total number of users for each platform:
- Facebook – 64
- Instagram – 65
- TikTok – 57
- X – 59
- YouTube – 66
Examples of the people that are bringing the platform total numbers down:
- Lee Mack – only uses YouTube & Facebook
- Rhod Gilbert – doesn’t use TikTok or X
- Micky Flanagan – only uses YouTube
- Dave Chappelle – only uses Instagram
How many platforms per comedian?
- 1 platform – 2 comedians
- 2 platforms – 1
- 3 platforms – 4
- 4 platforms – 13
- 5 platforms – 47
That’s the reasoning behind the choice of what totals to summarise.

Growth from 27th May?
The last time that I looked at these figures was May 27th 2025 (2 months) – so whose subscriber totals have increased by the biggest margin?
There are some names that were added (to my report) this month, meaning that I have no figures for them, for May. The people below are not included in this section, below, but will be when I next run the data.
- Max Amini
- Russell Peter
- Stavros Halkias
- Zakir Khan

- Kevin Bridges – 89,900
- Paul Chowdhry – 75,400

- Sebastian Maniscalco – 311,400
Everyone else had growth of below 300,000
Note – Kevin Hart doesn’t feature as the figures shown on his accounts seemed to show he’d dropped 1.6m. Some of this may be subs lost, some of it may be rounding issues with the numbers that I view.
