There are stories on August 27 in AOL and Forbes about Jimmy’s classic Aston Martin DB6 going in to be converted from petrol to electric.
An article in What’s The Jam repeats something that I’ve heard him say in podcasts and apparently also in their 2021 interview:
“I’ve got a nice DB6 from the late sixties. Yeah, I mean it’s a very beautiful car. But I mean, it’s f*cking pointless. I mean, it comes with an AA truck.”
He’s also joked about how many times he’s called Karoline to say “I’ve broken down again”.
An Oxfordshire company called Electrogenic have carried out the conversion and the car will be on display, at Blenheim Palace, until the 31st of this month.
Don’t tell Jeremy Clarkson…
Couple of days after posting this I find the video below…typical. Jimmy driving around London and complimenting another driver on their wheels.
AKA – his Aston Martin actually NOT broken down.
