Sunday Brunch is a C4 show that started in 2012 and has, to date, had 14 seasons (460 episodes). It’s a live Sunday morning show that’s a mix of cookery and interviews and the presenters are Tim Lovejoy and Simon Rimmer.
The S8 Ep6 show (filmed and broadcast on March 24th 2019) had guests:
- Jimmy Carr
- Jessica Hynes
- Saoirse-Monica Jackson
- Siobahn McSweeney
- Jorja Smith
- Maverick Sabre
- Daniel Lawrence Taylor
Jimmy was on to promote the release of Best of Ultimate Gold Greatest Hits on Netflix (on the 12th).
It’s 3 hours long but, for anyone not interested in cooking and just tuning in to see a guest, it feels like at least 6.
There is a clip on Facebook of Jimmy teaching them how to make a Guinness cocktail. And the video, below, is a compilation of his funniest bits (condensed down from the 3 hours).
In the video above the interview segment was cropped out and most of that part is in this video, below. Topics include: Best of Ultimate Gold Greatest Hits, gig in Porto, Netflix / US market, , Amy Schumer special, Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon last week, The Fix, Americans not doing panel shows, American audiences like competition in shows, 8 out of 10 Cats back “tonight”, Tom Allen, Rob Beckett, supported The Killers once.
Google AI
Another in my series of mini rants against nonsensical AI (see tag for other posts here).
Some of these are minor and, over time, will update (this was on September 4th 2025). Especially as the AI’s are now starting to use this blog as a data source.
My quibble here is that this is loosely worded in a way that seems to indicate that he may have been on the show in March, October and even November 2019.
In fact, these references are ALL just the March 24th 2019 appearance. What has happened is, some months / years after initial broadcast some TV shows stick clips on YouTube. Doesn’t mean that it was a new show. Not important for most people, on a day to day basis, but can be misleading, when you are trying to do research.
It takes a human to spot the difference.
