In 2008 Dermot O’Leary had a Saturday show on BBC Radio 2 (R2) for 3 hours, from 2pm.
On November 29th 2008 Jimmy joined him and was co-host for the first half of the show.
This was then followed up with him sitting in for Dermot on December 27th 2008. Jimmy was looking back at the year and playing his favourite records – which sadly are not listed anywhere.
I did find the R2 daily schedule – for anyone interested in what shows were being broadcast on Saturday afternoons in 2008. Didn’t expect to see Russell Kane, Rhod Gilbert and Suzi Quatro.
