The Million Pound Drop Live was a C4 series that ran from 2010 to 2019. Davina McCall hosted and the game involved contestants being given multiple choice questions and having to place a pile of their money on the right answer. If they got it wrong the money was dropped through a trapdoor.

It ended up being moved to an afternoon broadcast slot and reduced to The £100k Drop (before being cancelled altogether).

S2 Ep9 was a charity version with a celebrity pairing of Jimmy Carr and Johnny Vaughan and was broadcast on November 13^th 2010.

Jimmy was playing for the Teenage Cancer Trust
