Jimmy’s Mailing List

Like most performers Jimmy has a Mailing List and you can sign up to it here. You’ll get the pleasant surprise of seeing an email pop up that looks like it’s from the man himself! Go on. Treat yourself.

The video below was embedded in the October 3rd email (the video message is a new feature). It shows as being uploaded in July but was sitting there, prepped and hidden, waiting for this mailshot.

I’m using it as temptation…

I think just telling his fans they might get a surprise if they join the mailing list is enough. This isn’t quite fair to those who did sign up without expecting anything. Just a thought. Thanks for all that you do!

Thank you – I did ponder that but I think that email, with that particular video wouldn’t go out again if you signed up right now (assuming that that’s what you meant?). The mail outs, from what I’ve seen in the last few years, are one-off drops and that is the most detailed one that there has ever been.

PS – I forgot to add something (eyes have gone, been searching for a Zoo award for 2 hours). I don’t intend doing that again – I was using the video (which seems to have been recorded 6 months ago) to publicise the mailing list. I see sooooooooooo many people that are not aware of where he’s touring and miss out on gigs.

Thanks for the feedback though! Time to shut down.

No, I didn’t mean for new joiners after your message, just those who have been on the mailing list. But I understand what you had in mind. 🙂

That’s a long time to search. I know you can’t always trust AI, but the deep research model available in ChatGPT might help. It does pretty good with scientific data searches. And while it searches for 15 minutes you can do something else!

Thank you! I don’t tend to use AI because search often brings back things that I wasn’t looking for. I found a 2nd Zoo awards by accident and some other stuff, downloaded for later. The problem was that i was searching “Zoo comedy awards” and it turns out they had called it “100 funniest people”. Doh!
Which I only found out when I spotted it in the Rough Guide.
        Keeps me quiet…
