Jimmy first did a fund raiser for Childish Things back in 2007 (see previous appearances here). It was in aid of Helen and Douglas House, which is a hospice for terminally ill babies and children (read more here).
2014 was their 10th year and March 24th and 25th saw them return to the New Theatre in Oxford. Jimmy gave up this time to appear in both evenings:

2014 was announced as the last Childish Things and Jimmy and Jo talked about it in this interview here (pictures of both of them).

In the video below Jimmy, talking about supporting Helen & Douglas House, and his involvement in Childish Things over the years. He seems slightly uncomfortable with admitting that he has been a long-time supporter and slips into the slightly self-deprecating mode of “I’m not a good guy”.
