BBC Radio 2 (R2) had a show called The Radio 2 Arts Show With Anneka Rice. Except sometimes it seems to have been presented by all kinds of other people, but under the same show name.

Across 2 hours it covered anything designated as “the arts” and was a mix of interviews, news and reviews. I have used the past tense as I can’t tell whether it’s still running etc. It’s usually bad enough, finding details on TV shows…radio can be even trickier.

At 10pm on November 16^th 2007 the host was Matthew Wright and his guest was Jimmy Carr. He was on his Repeat Offender tour at the time but I couldn’t speculate as to whether the show was a promotional visit – or one to talk about the arts in general.

Apart from a repeat of that vague detail on the BBC Genome – I could find nothing else.
