November 28th 2014 and Jimmy was on his Funny Business tour. He was on a train to Blackburn with his show, at King George’s Hall, due to start at 8pm.
As you can see from the below – by 7.35pm he knew he was going to be late as his train had broken down.
He ended up making arrangements to get a round in…and this hall can hold 1,675 people (he said about 1,300 in the video below). So, it ended up costing him £4,000 (which, according to the Bank of England website, would be £5,559 today).
He finally made it onto the stage at 10.15pm.
