Alan Carr’s Comedy Outings was a BBC Radio 2 (R2) show that ran for 6 x 30-minute episodes in 2008.

The premise was that Alam would be involved in a fictional escapade every week. He would narrate his bizarre adventures and intersperse the narration with classic comedy clips.

Episode 3 aired on November 8^th 2008 and it’s a shame that I couldn’t find an audio file as it boggles the mind as to how he told a story and still managed to fit in clips, from all of the people below, within 30 minutes.

This one was called Dangerous Li-Alans he’s in Columbia, with a monkey and chained to a cellar wall. He’s telling the story of a globe trotting TV assignment and mulling over the circumstances that led him to end up in this cellar.
