Rage Against the Answer Machine was a feature on Radio 1 Breakfast with Greg James on BBC Radio 1 (R1). According to the BBC website you called an answering machine and left a message about what was making you angry (see here).

When guests appeared on the show to “play Rage Against the Answer Machine” I’m assuming that they were just asked what made them angry? I can’t find any clips to verify how it played out.

Jimmy dropped into the studios on November 4^th 2015 and this link has an image and the show’s music playlist. No audio, unfortunately.

At this point Jimmy was on his Funny Business tour and was about to film his first Netflix special, of the same name, the following week – here. Which means I can only assume he was promoting the tour as he wasn’t on his usual November routine of “flogging his next DVD” (which always came out in time for Christmas).
