The One Show is on BBC1, 5 days a week, at 7pm and Jimmy’s first appearance was on April 21st 2010. The show is a live record / broadcast.
The presenters have changed a fair bit, over the years, but this show was Christine Bleakley (now Christine Lampard) and Adrian Chiles.
Having a guess at what he MAY have been promoting – around this time he was performing final WIP gigs for his Laughter Therapy tour and was completing Rapier Wit. Until a clip turns up – who knows?
The BBC entry (here) doesn’t show Jimmy’s name but the listing screen for 2010 (here) does (if you scroll down to April 21st.
Not that it’s worth you going to have a look – I’m just recording citation links.
Despite a lot of searching, I can’t find any images or video for this one. As with many of these shows (that are daily breakfast / early evening slots) the content doesn’t seem to have been deemed worth keeping. Although I did find video for later shows, on my travels.
