Can hardly keep up with the onslaught of all things Fackham Hall at the moment.
Lots to get through. You may need a cup of tea.
Location Filming
An interesting piece here from Explore Liverpool that details filming locations. Fackham Hall itself was “played” by Knowsley Hall – but some of the interiors were filmed in Croxteth Hall and Country Park.
It also goes into which buildings / streets were used for outside shots.
Reviews
Reviews are still very good (too many to list them all). Digital Spy (here) reported:
It looks to have been a hit with critics thus far, with Rotten Tomatoes currently reporting an impressive approval rating of 83% from 24 reviews, though it will need a few more logs to be certified fresh.
Nice review from Spectrum Culture – here.
And a very enthusiastic one from Fan Fun With Damian Lewis – here.
Cast Interviews
Screen Rant (here) has a text interview with Tom Felton, Jim O’Hanlon, Katherine Waterston and Damian Lewis.
In this Instagram reel Thomasin McKenzie and Tom Felton play “posh or not”
And in this Instagram reel they play “how many shillings would it take…” – interspersed with Jim O’Hanlon joining in.
UK Cinemas
December 12th is the UK release date and The Capitol in Horsham have announced it has showings from December 19th– 24th – here.
Promo Videos & Film Clips
Lots more promotional videos trickling out…
This first one has bits of cast interviews (including Jimmy) interspersed with clips from the film
“True love transcends class”
This is a completely new version of Eric taking a tea tray to Rose. Much longer than previous clips. Nice reference to Balzac.
“Run, Fackers, run”
Eric running away
“The lowest brow movie of the year”
Short but satisfying clip of various cast members swearing and farting…and a new clip featuring a donkey. Love the fake review names…
I can’t remember if I’ve already added this – but a word from Mr Carr
