8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown, S28 (C4 S29) Christmas Special will have a UK broadcast of December 24^th 2025 @ 9pm on C4.

Being an Xmas Special it kind of doesn’t have an episode number – which messes up the new series, with it being the first to be shown. It’s already confusing enough with C4 renumbering the series (see more on the series list here).

As with previous series Jimmy Carr is host and, from now on, Rob Beckett is now fulfilling the 2^nd Team Captain role (see here).
