8 out of 10 Cats Does Countdown S28 Ep1 (S29) was broadcast on January 16^th 2026 on C4 @ 10pm.

Carrying on from the new intro format of the Christmas show the crowd warm-up man introduces Jimmy who walks on (to applause) and then introduces everyone else (who also then have to walk on).

Two of the “skits” with Jimmy have seriously cute dogs. In the first one he acts as a therapist and talks to them on a couch and, in the second, he’s a dentist and brushing doggie teeth. Gorgeous dogs and so well trained.
