On November 23^rd 2011 Jimmy dropped into BBC Radio 1 (R1) to appear on The Chris Moyles Show.

He was there to promote the DVD Being Funny (here) which had been released a couple of days before. This marked the end of the Laughter Therapy tour and January 2012 saw him launch into Gagging Order.

There is a photo from within the studio (here) but, unfortunately, that 45-minute audio file link no longer works.

There is a 2011 Best Of audio file (here) that features “David Beckham, John Cleese, Stephen Merchant, Warwick Davis, Ant & Dec, Jimmy Carr, Alan Carr and the great Terry Wogan”.

Jimmy features from 32.54 to 39.46 and this is, presumably, cut from the original 45-minute appearance. This 7 or so minutes isn’t very exciting (IMHO). There’s a guy on the team (Aled) that doesn’t understand comedy and so it’s just Aled and Jimmy trying to tell each other jokes and Aled not getting most of them.
