The Big Green Show was a fundraiser at London’s Bloomsbury Theatre on May 15th 2005. It was to raise money for a charity called Aisling – Return to Ireland, which “Aisling works with homeless and vulnerable Irish people living in London, helping long-term emigrants return to Ireland for a rehabilitative break and contact with their family and friends”.
So far as I can tell the performers were:
- Ardal O’Hanlon
- Jimmy Carr
- Tommy Tiernan
Despite searching for quite a while the only reference that I can find is on UKTW (UK Theatre Web – here) which is a database of gigs that can be searched by performers or venue.
Ticket price was £15 and the UKTW blurb said they would be “accompanied by a number of guests” – but couldn’t find out who that may have been.
