Looking through the British Newspaper Archives for 2005 – one of the more bizarre stories (relating to Jimmy) was about Cows For Kosovo.

The December 19^th copy of the Irish Independent had an article (version of it here, without the picture) about a scheme that was sending cows to Kosovo. Each family was then asked to pass on a pregnant female to another family, to spread the assistance programme wider.

The article said:

COMEDIAN Jimmy Carr outside the Morrison Hotel in Dublin with a Bothar heifer who is being airlifted to help a struggling family in Kosovo in the New Year. A number of poor families will benefit from the initiative.

And had a picture of Jimmy, posing with a heifer.

I’m not sure when the picture was taken as, currently, I can only find details of him having been in Dublin in October, to film for The Panel (details and video – here).
