More Fackham Hall promotional material, ahead of the New Zealand / Australia cinema release on February 19th 2026.
Thomasin McKenzie has been interviewed by The Post, New Zealand (here). I hadn’t realised she was a Kiwi!
When asked if Jimmy had given advice on setting the tone for the movie she said:
Unfortunately, I didn’t get to spend a lot of time with Jimmy. He had two days on set playing the Vicar. He is very smart. He and Katherine Waterston (who plays her character Rose’s mother Prudence) were having a very intellectual conversation in the green room and I kind of shied away because I felt, “I don’t know what they’re talking about, I can’t keep up”. He very much had a big influence on the tone of the film, he wrote the script, alongside the Dawson brothers, so his voice was prevalent all the way through.
