Comedy.co.uk has published some analysis (here) of the Top 10 most watched TV Comedies of 2025. Their article has more details about which broadcast date applied (to each show) – but the list of names / total views is:

1. Gavin & Stacey – 8.7m
2. Amandaland – 7.57m
3. Death Valley – 6.18m
4. Michael McIntyre’s Big Show – 6.03m
5. Have I Got News For You – 8.97m
6. Would I Lie To You? – 4.81m
7. Blankety Blank – 4.41m
8. The Graham Norton Show – 4.01m
9. Mrs Brown’s Boys – 3.98m
10. The Big Fat Quiz of The Year (2025) – 3.98m

The piece doesn’t say where the data came from and it doesn’t quite align with BARB’s website. I wrote here about BFQ 2025 numbers and it was listed as being in 32^nd place for overall Christmas week viewing (with 3,549,300).

That number is 430k lower than the above and, having just checked BARB, their site still says 3,549,300 (even though this BBC article seems to be agreeing with Comedy.co.uk and the Beeb says that this data is all coming from BARB). Lies, damn lies and statistics!

Regardless…it was the only C4 show in this list.
