May 10th 2018 was the annual Fortnum and Mason food and drink awards. At the time Jimmy’s friend, Ewan Venters, was CEO of the retailer (from 2012-20) and was credited with transforming the business.
The awards are to honour people in the food and drink writing and broadcasting arena. Which is why I don’t know most of the people photographed.

In May 2018 he was on his Best of Ultimate Greatest Hits Tour on the Canada leg. He had a Canadian gig on the 6th, came back to the UK for a few days and did this event, for his friend, and then back to Canada on the 16th for more shows.
