Another one of my “mini rants” on nonsensical AI (see posts here – especially this one around how often it is wrong and how a slop account announced that Jimmy was appearing on stage dressed as a Vicar).

Here are some more…

Another concern would be the Facebook posts that I keep seeing in my searches (I don’t have an account) and I’d encourage everyone to report these bots as often as possible. Not just when they are about Jimmy. If people report them enough (instead of just leaving comments about it being a bot) then, eventually something may be done.

Fight the slop one account at a time.

This one (here) is from an account called Throwback 70s 80s 90s’s. The title is garbled enough to make your teeth itch – but it also regularly features Jimmy on current topics. So, going beyond the 90s then?

This particular one delivers some bot-speak rubbish about how he’s “resurrected the classic art of the devastating one liner” – but it’s the image that’s a concern.

Made to look like it’s something Jimmy actually said it says “Insults create spectacular comedic tension provided performers skilfully target incredibly arrogant individuals who desperately demand totally unearned public attention”.

That’s one long word salad that I can guarantee he’s never said.

The second one (here) is from Power & Trend’s and claims that Jimmy JUST made a brutal joke about Bonnie Blue that is “taking over social media and pop culture conversations right now”…

Seriously?

BB’s 15 minutes of notoriety and the Heckle Amnesty video (here – viewed over 1.6m times at time of typing) was January 2025. The bot thinks that 15 months ago was “right now” does it?

The 3^rd example (Warm Girl Vibes) is more problematic as it’s the type that, if it had a bigger audience, could stimulate a lot of hateful responses and protests and so on. Here.

After three days it’s currently got a lot of people agreeing with the sentiment…but, again, I’ve never heard him say this (and I listen to all of his Heckle videos and podcasts…eventually).

The headline quote is “Jimmy Carr: you can’t turn a p3nis into a v#gina no matter how much you pay the surgeon”.

I posted about transphobia accusations (here) and, while this is potentially a joke he COULD make, it once again just makes stuff up. It goes on to say that he is “gaining major traction across social media after a clip from one of his performances began circulating widely on platforms like Facebook, X, TikTok and Instagram”. And that the “clip has quickly become a trending topic”.

Except it hasn’t.

The clip doesn’t exist and isn’t trending.

I’ve slipped this post out so that you can check for yourselves (should you wish to).

Anyway, there you have it. Three examples in a couple of days, from three different accounts. All containing absolute nonsense and written to generate clicks by causing division. Clickbait headlines about non-existent controversies.
