August 6th 2005 BBC Radio 7 (R7) delivered a Little Britain Night. It appears the show had started out as a radio series (R4) from 2000-2 and 5 of the episodes were broadcast as a part of this 2005 celebration.
There is very little to be found, but it would seem that Jimmy was brought in to interview Matt Lucas.
I’ve personally never seen it (not my thing) but this show ran, on TV, from 2003-6 and was a huge success in both the UK and aboard – winning many awards and with all kinds of spin-offs (live tour, PlayStation game etc.). With catch phrases that entered into the everyday vernacular it regularly got 10m viewers.
In 2020 it was pulled by the BBC and banned by streamers such as BritBox and Netflix but, in 2025, it was reported that it was once again very popular – this time on TikTok.
