Back when photographers were a part of the music / comedy scenes and were capturing pop culture. Do photographers still get access all areas passes or is everything more corporate and controlled now?

There is a quote, from Jimmy, on the Pictures page (here) and this great photo is one that was taken for tour promotion. Looks like it’s from the set used for the late 2003 Live DVD (Charm Offensive tour) and the adverts for the 2004 Public Display of Affection tour.
