The Royal Television Society (RTS) has an annual awards ceremony and Jimmy hosted the 2004 event on March 16^th, at the Grosvenor House Hotel.

Entertainment was from Ray Gelato and The Giants.

• Little Britain won “Comedy Performance”, beating Ricky Gervais’ The Office Christmas Special
• Little Britain won the “Entertainment” category, beating Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway and Bo’ Selecta!
• Jonathan Ross won “Entertainment Performance” (for Friday Night with Jonathan Ross). Ant & Dec had been nominated for Saturday Night Takeaway / I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here
• The Office Christmas Special won “Situation Comedy and Comedy Drama”. Other nominees were Rob Brydon’s Marion & Geoff and David Mitchell’s Peep Show.
