Having twice appeared on Late Night With Conan O’Brien in 2002, Jimmy returned in January and September 2006.

He then appeared again on May 8^th 2007 to promote his book The Naked Jape: Uncovering the Hidden World of Jokes (which had been released November 2006). In the US the book was titled Only Joking.
