During the 2012 Just for Laughs festival Adam Hills bantered with someone in his audience from Hope & Cope Cancer Wellness Centre (which supports people living with cancer). As a result of this conversation Adam was inspired to rope in some other comedians to help him put on a show.

This first Hope & Cope event was on the afternoon of July 28^th and Adam and Jimmy were joined by David O’Doherty.

Unfortunately, as with many stories from a decade or so ago, the information has been deleted. I am hoping the charity doesn’t mind me posting the below.
