Following on from the post about 8oo10c Series 4.

8 Out of 10 Cats series 5 started on June 15^th 2007 and ran through to 20^th July (with a Big Brother special on August 30^th). Jimmy was the host and the Team Captains (with 2 panellists assisting each of them) were Sean Lock and new addition Jason Manford.

**The week before Episode 5 was recorded was the Live Earth concert (July 7th). Jimmy had been there and, when interviewed by Jonathan Ross, cracked a joke about Diana. This came up in the “one of the most talked about things this week” round and Mr C took the Diana joke up a notch. See here.

Note that, for the writing credits, I just pull out the names of people that went on to be known more for TV / Stand-up and/or Production. The rest of the writers, on series 5 (see here), are talented people that write for a living (for many shows) but are not well known (as in not public figures).
